thats why u must always back up ur save data
its time to cry son (keep ur "tekken game" folder archieved or back it up next time) u cant retrive it coz u already deleted it so better move on
But I wonder why the save file wasn't retrieved from the cloud. Was the cloud save corrupted as well?
@Tshask I have no idea , this never happen before ! my game crashed while playing and on the next tekken 7 boot my data was corrupted , Both online and offline ranks gone ! This is totally embarassing !
The exact same thing happened to me before, sadly I never managed to recover it. after around 50 hours of playtime.

As I had already unlocked everything previously I just used a trainer to unlock all the custom items again, obviously my rank and custom outfits were all gone but it lessesned the blow a little.

Also, there's a little program called 'gamesave manager' thats really handy, it scans your system for saves and makes a back up of all of them for incase something like this happens. Might be worth a look
Steam cloud has no idea if your save is corrupted, so it will backup the corrupted save.
Steam has way too many games to be able to check for corruption, it just goes by how new the file is.

You might want to periodically copy your save file to another folder.
It's at C:\users\(your username)\app data\local\TekkenGame\Saved\SaveGames\Tekken7\(numbers)\
Maybe make a new folder in there name it Bak or Backup or make it on your desktop whatever.
Copy Global1.sav and paste a copy in that Backup folder. Copy your customs save file if you want to.

In order to restore your copied save file you have to disable Steam Cloud, put your backup save back where it came from and play the game or mess with options to make it save so that file will be the newest before you turn Steam Cloud back on then exit game to sync the fixed save.

And I'm still not sure how you guys are corrupting your saves. I got this on day 1 and have had some crashes but never lost my save file.

Good to know. But that kinda defeats the purpose of having the cloud save. Maybe it's best to actually disable the auto-sync and use it only occasionally.
I Don't trust Steam Cloud anymore .. It increases game launch and close time always syncing and then this crap , Uploading corrupted data to the server , damn ! i Will manually save/upload my save files from now on ! Thanks guys for all the comments and explainations . Helps a lot !

I can't find any of these files. Where is appdata supposed to be? My game crashed.

AppData is a system folder by default it's hidden , u have to check show hidden files/folder in your windows explorer then navigate to this directory (Your PC might have different file paths but as long as you go to the right folder you are good to go ) :

C:\Users\Home PC\AppData\Local\TekkenGame

this is the location where Tekken 7 writes all your save data , i hope it helps . Good Day !
