Want to boycott Negan guest character?

Simple way to do it, only buy the characters individually, don't buy the 2nd season pass, just buy the single characters you want and send the message we don't want stupid characters in the game, a walking dead character makes ZERO sense, alternatively if you really want to send a message, don't buy the second season pass content at all, but with Lei and Anna being in there it would be difficult not to, so at least I urge you to just buy the characters you want, think of it this way, in that slot for a stupid walking dead character we could have had Kunimitsu, Bruce, Roger or Alex, Armor King, Marduk, Jun, Michelle Chang, HELL even Orge or True Orge, literally they could have filled that slot with any number of TEKKEN characters, again this just reeks of sellout.

Feng is just exceptionally strong, but nothing inhuman in the Tekken verse.

Lastly, you're gonna tell me that if all the characters that I listed above took Negan's Bat right in the damn face they would get up like nothing ? (In reality I mean, not gameplay wise)

I'm kinda fan of Tekken since part 3 and I decided to boycott whole Tekken 7.
Why?
-Yoshimitsu used to be my favourite character. Namco kept changing him drastically with each iteration. In tekken 3 I loved him he were different in Tekken 4 but I liked him as much, in Tekken 5 he changed alot but again I liked him as much. In Tekken 6 he gained 2nd sword, many of his sword attacks became blockable, new sword attacks were blockable. I didnt enliked Tekken 6 Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu is constantly changin character so I assumed he will be wastly different in Tekken 7. Wrong. After Namco removed 50% of Yoshimitsus appeal changes subsided.
Pretty ironic that Namco kept tinkering with Yoshimitsu hard changing him in each entry* untill they made him shadow of former quality (appealwise) at which time they decided that drastical changes era ends for him. 99-100% of you probably understands what I'm saying but due to high level of mine frustration Ill say it one more time in different words: Namco kept changing Yoshimitsu until they ruined him at which point they decided that it is ok to leave him like this and stop drastical changes.
-Tierlist. Some characters are terrible for 4 or more parts while others are always kept viable.
-Tekken has alot characters that I like but nobody managed to appeal to me even closely as much as Yoshimitsu.
-Akuma. He were mine favourite in udon comics, is mine favourite character from Street
Fighter series (although his movelists in SF4/5 seem to be designed anti pad) but I dont like guest characters so he feels out of place and I have rule to not touch guest characters. Only situations when I choose different are when guest has extremally great design (visual and GAMEPLAY wise), is viable but in that case I'm usually getting controll over myself back before purchasing and i limit myself to being like WTF they made such and masterpiece of guest but they couldnt polish veteran characters and design just as great non guest newcomer characters?!?

-At first after announcements Namco said that ground bounce will be removed so I assumed that combos will be shorter and winning round wont be about landing 2 combos and instead there will be more focus on neutral which I love. Nope. Bounce were replaced by tailspin. Combo contest returns once more.


When Tekken 7 promo hit the steam I decided to wait till the last hours because gut feeling told me that S2 for T7 will be revealed and if things go well Ill get somebody acceptable and mine hunger for Yoshimitsu will be at least satisfied (because I guess he still has place in my heart even after getting pitifullised by Namco's bad ideas). Lei Wulong were shown I were like why wasnt he in base roster?!? Anna showed up to kicks Nina's ass ok I like this waifu. I were slowly evaluating if I stil want T7 since even on sale it is ont 5 cents, than bang!
Negan showed up. Felt like mother in law entering room just when you are cuumming on your wifes face.
I lost all will to buy Tekken 7. Also Denuvo is not particularly appealing to me. Especialy that game were cracked 3 days after release so now Denuvo only slows down game performance while pirates laugh that offline their stolen Tekken is better than legal copy.
All together I guess I'll wait for Tekken 8.








*TTT1/2 dont count since they are by definition T3/6 with slight modifications + Tag mechanics

Negan's a stupid addition period. I don't care for zombie games or series. I don't watch them. I don't care if it costs more to buy individually. I'm not adding Negan to my game. I won't face him either because I don't play online. They could have added any other Tekken character but instead they add a nobody from a TV show who isn't even a fighter in any game.

Actually, even if you just play offline there's a chance he'll show up in the likes of treasure battle. You don't have to own the characters either. I've faced Geese and Noctis and I don't even own them

Human standards in the Tekken verse are higher than in real life. Yes, whatever you want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ believe, FENG IS HUMAN. He simply is a human that discovered the secrets of the God Fist. Nothing more, nothing less. Any other Tekken character could've done that.

Literally none of the characters you mentioned sound appealing or make sense in the current story. I've never seen Walking Dead, but this guy looks okay. And we're getting Lei and Anna back so chill out. I'd rather see more new characters who can further/create new story lines.

Yeah there was definintely money exchanged between parties to make this happen, its a plan to bring Europe gamers into the Tekken 7 scene, however I know several people that are actually done with Tekken due to this latest guest character announcement, Harada was pushing it with FFXIV then KOF, I think Negan was the final nail in the coffin, while guest characters are interesting they can't take the place of the old favorites, I hope it was worth the players you lost in comparison with the players you gain.
