This has cost me so many promotion matches in my experience. Especially with mishima characters, when i have to execute electrics in tight timing for optimal combos or whiff punishing, it'll connect but my remote straight up dies so i can't finish the combo. Then i get low hit to death before i can reconnect most of the time. Especially heihachi players lol they never care. Sucks i can't use wireless. for some reason my pc never registers it. Lost an orange rank promotion ealier this week with my jin and it sucked. I can only deal with it though until i have a new form of control.

Am i alone here?

XB1. I don't think ps4 remotes have such a loose port

Nah I've lost a couple matches because of a similar thing with my PS4 controller.
That was until I used my graphics tablet wire.

I was forced to use wireless. Now its fine :)

time to check your usb interfaces. DS4 controller works perfectly fine since the last 2 years without any unplug issues.

Some people don't have an issue, but with the two controllers I went through and so many different wires. I had so many disconnection issues.

That said my current controller with my graphics tablet wire has led to hardly any problems recently. 2 months. We'll see how long this lasts though lol

hm weird. we are playing local a lot of times with 2 ds4 controllers. It works fine. we just had an issue 1 time because my usb interface was broken but thats it. Maybe some things going wrong with the IRQ interface?

It happens with DS4 controlllers to me too.And i heard that happening many other people including some streamers.But you can buy new cable and it usually fixes.

I have two PS4 controllers and I have tried several USB cables. I always had major problems after some time (like a few days/weeks).

I think taping it down - as was mentioned above - is really good idea (or superglue or something).

Or you might have godlike luck and find random cable that somehow doesnt disconnect ever.

well trust me xbox is way worse.
