Any way to play previous TEKKEN games on PC?
I know this isnt exactly tekken 7 related, but does anyone know if its possible to play say, TTT2 on PC? Obviously i know it was only made for console, but i know there are emulators out there for xbox 360/ps3 that allow you to run it on a PC with minimal glitches nowadays. If anyone knows how to get the games to work on PC, feel free to message me!

I don't know of an emulator strong enough to play TTT2 good enough to be playable, but you can play Tekken 1 through TAG on a PS2 emulator. I think TAG has some emulation errors that haven't been ironed out yet though.

I have no knowledge of PS3 emulation, but I do know that Xbox/Xbox360 emulation is a nightmare. Only as of this year, have teams started to figure out what makes the Xbox tick. 360 is out of the question right now.

TTT2 is not included in the available PS3 games:
https://www.playstation.com/fr-fr/explore/playstation-now/ps-now-games/

PS: I can run TTT2 in 4k at 60FPS with RCPS3 emulator, but no BGM (music) and no online. But it's nice if you never played Anna for instance and want to test her 30mn before 6th september. But only for a test, because she will have many new moves in T7 ! :)

Thats the exact stuff im looking for! I've got a good rig that can run my games at peak performance and quality, but what i dont understand is how to get TTT2 onto the emulator in the first place. Can i simply find a copy online and download it? Or do i need to rip it from my physical copy? I own a official copy of TTT2 on my xbox 360, so i dont know if i have to rip it and put it onto a flash drive or something.

I'd love it if you could share that... Getting a rom for TTT2 is a pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥' pain.

Probably because there is no such thing as a rom for this.

Rips of discs are called images, in formats like .iso
It's not just a binary ROM dump. File system and structure must be preserved to copy a data CD/DVD/Bluray.

Also, this is piracy. No links allowed. They banned me from RS2014 forum for linking an FAQ, on a site that had no files. Just links, that you can't even get to without making an account.

That's a fair point. I used to own the game, though, so technically that doesn't make it piracy? At least, that's how I've heard it.

Won't stop the lawyer train. Hope you still got that disk somewhere. Without proof there is no "technically."

You can play 1-3 of ps1 emulator, there are good PS2 and PSP emulators (granted you get plugins right and you have decent pc) then there is TT2, which is if you can get a Dvd image of it(complete rip) then mount it onto your DvD by using something like Alchohol 120%, then pray if its compatable with your proper plugins, then hope after all those layers it doesnt run like crap.

OR buy a ps3 for 10$ buy TT2 for 7$ and there you go

Owning the game does not mean you can make copies of it. You can have a "backup" of your game for preservation purposes, but you're not allowed to do anything with it. And you have to make the "backup" yourself, which is impossible for most regular people. It's a very weird thing.

This Tekken is far worse then the previous, but at least we have it finally on steam and a pc version. So better something then nothing.

1. There are emulators for PS2 and if you transfer bios from your PS2 (downloading it from internet if you dont have console is illegal I heard). You can run PS2 games from discs (again downloading them from internet is illegal). Things seem to be similar with PS1.
2. Once I were quite tired or drunk and started to download something for TTT2 (which I own on PS3) when i ried to open file I saw Tekken 3 introm press start screen and when i tried to turn it off I saw mode select screen so I think somebody made unofficial Tekken 3 port for PC. Although I cannot guarantee it because as I said I were in poor condiion back than so much that it took me alot of button pressing before I recalled ALT + F4 is the best way to react to suspicious things. Later I scanned file with avast, deleted it and started full hdd scan.

I think Tekken's downfall started with Tekken 6.
1. T6 had rage mechanic.
2. T6 gave 2nd sword to Yoshimitsu and made his attacks with sword blade minimally faster but blockable which is sad because I loved times when it were forcing enemies into recalling that sidesteps exist (and getting punished very quickly if somebody were well rounded in Tekken knowing that sidesteps are integral part of the game since T3).
Tekken Tag tournament 2 wasnt perfect either because it had flaws of T6 and while Tag battles were adding variety to the game they also made game even harder to get into. And it were anti newbies even before.

I didnt played T7 yet (PS4 versin is too expansive + no sales and PC version has Denuvo despite game being cracked 3 days after release + I'm salty about Yoshimitsu remaining less enjoyable than in T1-5).

T7 is an alright game, its graphics are stunning, and it adding new exciting characters like noctis are just the cherry on top. But me being so used to the variety of stuff TTT2 offered, i just think it was my favorite overall. I do own TTT2 on xbox, and it does play and everything, but i am MUCH better at tekken using a keyboard instead of the xbox controller or arcade stick. That is why i am looking far and wide to find a way to play TTT2 on the PC using some kind of xbox emulator (so i can play it legally).
