b+2.. then wait for a high, f+2... side step... this character is just too easy to use. i dont see why people have problem using this character.

She is super strong. Her launcer f+2 is the best punish move in the game, unlike gigas lame 1,2.

I know f+2 is good but i am looking for a move like jackhammer, safe keep out tool.

Whenever under pressure, just use the b+4,d+4,f+4 or the 1+2, you can get a full dombo...i usually use the b+1+2 grab to pressure... then go for 1+4 mixups.

B3. Its a great launcher against over agressive opponents due to its crush properties. Its launch punishable but in most cases hard to punish so it often goes unpunished.

remember to use 2, 3 for punishing

Moves for keepout:

Easy to use =/= easy to play.
A character can be simple in execution but more complicated in gameplan. Asukas gameplan isn't as straightforward as her execution. Playing defensive is something you have to learn. You need to learn the space your moves cover and get an idea of the range of your opponents. Proper whiff punish also isn't something you learn over night. On top of that Asuka has to work twice as hard against other defensive players and really pull out the bag of tricks to win those matches.

People always confuse easy execution with easy characters.
You wanna know a character who has easy execution and an easy gameplan? Kazumi.
Thank you. I agree with your points.

This.

Id say d2 is VERY similar to jackhammer in many respects (not quite as broken though).

Than explore on your own instead of asking so soon.
Dont get me wrong it is good idea to consult your opinion with more experienced players but if you just picked it up it feels like going through singleplayer game with walktrough from the beginning and not even trying to resolve puzzles yourselve.

She isnt a high risk character so its easy to learn, most of her moves are safe and cancellable, she is easy to use and easy to learn. Formulating a gameplan comes afterwards which is the fun part anyway because that requires intelligence and skill, some characters you cant even have a game plan, mostly characters that is high risk and high reward, and some high risk and low reward. Asuka is a very low risk character and high reward.
