Having more fps than 60 is not helpfull in tekken. It's all about frame data. Listen to GungZA
in my country all the tekken 7 players are on ps4 not pc so yeah i'm a low rank ..
_________
anyway.. is there anyway to go over it or not ..? that is the only question i have ..
Isn't Turbo Battle just an artificial version of that? And considering how it straight up breaks certain things (Akuma can combo off of DPs in Turbo Battle IIRC) and makes certain combos impossible for most people to perform it's no surprise fighting games don't go higher by default.

Regarding why 144hz exist, its coz they actually make a difference, better refresh types solve issues ppl have with low fps, making low refresh rates look better then ever, but unless you really don't want to notice the difference between 60 and 60+ fps, you will ,nomatter if you deal with tearing.
