Is there a way to message your opponent?

Is it possible to message your opponent if you don't have them on your friend list? For example after playing a ranked match?

I remember part of the fun of playing Tekken6 on xbox360 was messaging the person you just played against.

But here on Steam I see no such option. Is the option hidden somewhere or is it just not possible?

There isnt sadly(or maybe i should say thank god) Because you might get salty messages too,or you might have valuable talk with someone.Its 50/50 mixup.

So looks like playing on consoles has its advantages after all.

I will miss this feature. The game gets even more entertaining when you can send someone a silly message after the fight, or a comment on just a simlpe gg. I will miss the salty messages too.

i personally hate when i lose so bad and my opponent says GG.......to me its a Low~Key insalt.
i know cuz i use to do this alot when i win on consoles lol :( so sad

Easy communication in Tekken game would be mixed.
Sometimes you would be finding persone to conversate at hig level.
Usually you would be finding precious info that you are noob (on lose) or that your character is OP and you play cheapest cancerous game (on win).

In my experience I didn't get many negative comments. And those I did get were usually hiliarious. Most people were friendly though. And you could get funny interactions sometimes as well.

I don't think it's an insult. It's like shaking a hand, something you do after the match. Of course it's impossible to know for sure what the opponent's intentions are, but most likely it's just in your head.

I have to say though ~> Why would the winner gotta say GG[Good Game] if it wasnt really a good game and destroyed the loser.... thats what i dont like yaknow. if its not a good game i hate it when the guy/girl that mopped the floor with me says GG when they know it wasnt; it was a easy win.

But look. Today I played against this Hwoarang player, but he won and he abused my waifu Xiaoyu. Which is wrong! I wanted to tell him how wrong it was, but just like you he had his profile comments disabled. It's a problem ;)

There is a way..... add him to your friend list than if he wanna talk to you than you will be able to.

Wow, very annoying players for sure. In dealing with this sort of degenerates I'd begin by correcting their grammar and take it from there :) Shouldn't be too hard to get them mad.

But yeah, I can see your point.
