♥♥♥♥ Lei Wulong

I thought for awhile before writing this. Lei Wulong is hella annoying. If i wrote it earlier, people be saying "git gud skurb" and "he just came out, lab him"

Cant lab him. I dont own the DLC and i have no intention of doing so. I shouldnt have to spend money to lab a character that i will never use. They should have just allowed us to use all characters in practice mode. DLC characters always have an advantage against the normal roster just because people cant lab them.

Hes probably the most gimickest character in the game. Eddy is gimicky but lei is like on a new level. Soo many stances and options. And when at green rank where i am at, lei is basically god when a player is decent with him.

And also how the hell do i shut him the ♥♥♥♥ up? Makes sounds more annoying than law and lucky chloe. Is there some personal mute button just for lei? ♥♥♥♥ that man

ur asking how to shut him but u dont want to lab him?....ur best option is google or youtube to study all of his move on how to counter and defen urself on it

Just block low and launch punish. Most online Lei players are just abusing his low sweeps, also look for a move that hits grounded opponent and use it every time he goes into grounded stance.
(Example Asuka's 3+4, or Anna's dominatrix heel(uf3+4)).

You can't train the muscle memory by just looking at youtube vids. I tried that for Noctis and even though I should know what to do I can't execute upon it cause I can't lab him.
You shouldn't have to pay for a character just to learn how to deal with him, especially one you really hate and would never play anyway!

I think you can try to delete his voice files but it is risky procedure.
Lei is stance based so you need to know him in order to win. Since you cant lab him go youtube.
Dont act like ♥♥♥♥♥ and scream for nerf because you dont do well with his matchup.
Also keep in mind that he were in every single Tekken so some veteran Lei only players just returned to Tekken and since rank points dont carry over from Tekken to Tekken you are meeting many Lei's who have pretty good idea how he works but start from the bottom of ranking system.

Its sad that you are hating on one of my favorite characters. But i understand and thats why dlc characters should be free to use in practice mode.

He is just like Eddy, when he is on the ground, he has a lot of mixups. Side step when he is far away on the ground and back step when he tries to sleep on the ground. Make him screw up and miss you while he does his crap. IF he gets desperate, you can expect him to always go for the low mixup.

he doesnt want to lab him, so thats his best option, or a friend with noctis chacter, he shud try to spar with him

You can't simply delete the voice files as they're packed into .Pak files. You could mod them and replace them with blank sounds, probably.

Also, Lei debuted in Tekken 2 so he wasn't in every Tekken (He also wasn't in Tekken: Revolution, the last Tekken before 7)

"Thank Harada" that move is easily punishable as Gigas with d,f,1+2,1+2. But I agree with the OP about that Lei is annyoing because he always feels like being a troll even if a player plays him "normally".

I don't get all the Lei Wulong hate. Is he suddenly the most annoying character ever since he got 5 rage drives in Tekken 7 or did people always hate him and I just didn't notice?

I never thought he was that annoying before now.. so I'm a bit confused to where all this is coming from. Maybe it's just because I never played against a super high skill Lei in previous Tekken games...

i feel like his neutral sucks?
His mixup stuff is cool and good and all, but he doesnt feel oppressive like xiaoyu when I fight him.
Hes not crushing everything just by going into phoenix, you can actually hit him out of his stuff.
