EGWF on PS4 controller
Is there an easier way to do it? I do it manually but its harder to do than with an arcade stick. Kazuya is slighly easier thou.

Practice? It's extremely easy on ps4 pad once you get used to it.

You can do f n df for kazuya. And if you pressing 2 too late, try to press it slightly earlier than you usually press 2.

1. Kazuya has shortcut. You can of course exacute it like rest of Mishimas but Kazuya can also just do f,n,df instead.
2. Korean pro players sometimes practice it for 10+ years and still have success rate below 97%.
It is no rare that Korean tournament finale has multiple failed electrics.
3. I dont have nimblest fingers for sure but after spending 2 months with Kazuya I were sometimes managing to execute it 2 times in a row during his staple combo (which were requiring 2 electrics at beginning) in TTT2 times on PS3 pad so I dont think its impossible to do it on PS4 controller but I dont know as soon as I quit TTT2 I wasnt touching Mishimas. I didnt needed too.
4. It is hard to tell which controller is good to do that move. I guess it depends on both player and controller. Some have easier time on stick some on d-pad. Pick your poison.
5. If you dont feel like it dont torture yourselve and play another character.

You can get it with practice. But what I find difficult is doing ws moves from wave dash and that's a problem for kazuya. For heihachi I guess it doesn't matter as much since his ws moves suck anyway.

The biggest trick to electrics and wave dashing is "neutral" (when the joystick returns to the center) its the same thing on ps4 controller. the faster you can get to neutral, the faster you can dash and electric.

Unless I'm tied because 3 or so AM but if I understand you correctly you are pressing buttons before releasing d/f or try to do it with such an haste that game doesnt reads N. I know its frustrating to delay move when you see barely enough opening to land this move but rash is one of best ways to fail it.
I hope mine post were on point. If not blame me laterzzzzzzZZZZZzzzz

EGWF took me a while to do on Controller but I got the hang of it. My problem is doing it in the heat of battle. I can still do it time to time but sometimes I just get the normal God Wind Fist. I have blisters on my fingers after doing it so much and practicing.

TL;DR It's easier on controller.

The just frame (it's not even litterally) lies in pressing 2 at a max of 3frames after you pressed df. Heihachi has slightly harder one since it's 2 frames max. That is what it used to be. If you can do hwoarang cd4 (not jf one) without him makin any kind of wavedash before the kick you should be ok at ewgf. There's no trick but i tip i always give is to dont rush inputs like it's the hardest thing in the world and i gotta be lightning fast, because with this attitude you can't analyze your errors. If you do calm testing you'll have data to analyze your errors if you mash/rush inputs you have no starting point to get better since you don't really know what/why happened. Kazuya has one motion less than the others, Kaz's ewgf is f n df2 while others is f n d df2.

Symptoms
df2 come out: you havent pressed the additional down so the games wont let even wgf come out since you didnt crouch dashed
d2 come out : you rushed the input and thought of pressing df2 but you actually pressed f n d2
wgf come out: the timing between df and 2 was too slow

Hope it helps
