Jin parry

How the hell do you pull this parry off? My friend has tried every type of move against me - and I’ve never succesfully parried it. Sometimes ill dodge it but I never parry it. The parry is b1+2 right? If so, how exactly does it work?

It is a parry, but it just moves jin slightly to the side of a move while avoiding damage. You just have to time it within like 1/10th of a second of something hitting you, mid or highs.

Just saying it actually works if you press b 1+3 or b 2+4 rather than b 1+2 LOL

Your input is incorrect @TheCanonGamer. It is actually b+1+3 or b+2+4. The old command cancel parry of b+1+2 f,f,~b+2+4 (or b+1+3) is no longer in the game. Check your notation compared to practice mode.
