Should I stop learning Lars ?

is it worth it to keep learning Lars and is there any hope with him at higher ranks ?

if you like a character, just play him. tier lists are made for the top level of play anyways, so it'll be a long while before you get to the point where his faults will really hold you back. even characters like lucky chloe and gigas have tournament showings and people generally rank those two at the bottom

Keep playing Lars, its important to play a character you like and feel comfortable with.

Although on every tier list you'll find you'll see Lars at the lowest possible tier along with Lucky Chloe, Gigas and Kuma/Panda but don't let that stop you. Tier lists are usually meant for long sets in tournaments. In the online scene every character is viable. Show those scrubs what you're made of :->

Doesn't matter,Tekken is about fundamentals,you'll start winning when you understand the game more.
Also,i advice you to play against higher rank players (check discord groups),add them to your friendlist and start playing them more and get advices to improve.

Thanks everyone for the feedbacks. I think i'm going to try my best to stick with Lars and not get discouraged along the way because I really enjoy him. Also, If any of you guys main Lars I really appreciate if you add me.

Stick with Lars. He's one of the easiest to master but he IS somehow unsafe.

You can make so many combos out of Lars because he has kinda a lot of launchers. Even though the damage's not that big, but still, he is easy to master.

I used to main Lars (just for 3 months though, then I stick back with Leo again).

Extra Note.
His 10 hit combo is one of the easiest out of all characters.

I saw a video with The MainManSwe fighting a Genbu Lars, and he's good.

It is worth it to learn Lars for the swag and the cool looking moves. For higher ranks he doesn't really have gimmicks so you're going to have be fundamentally good at the game if you want to succeed with Lars
