I'd say a bit of both worlds. Kazuya's hellsweep is a fundamental move much like his Doriya! If I see him use the full-sting then I will parry it on muscle memory, if he only uses the first one to get me knocked down an start a string, it becomes a lil-harder to read. You need to watch Kazuya since he will have this distinct hop-up before he sweeps, making it easier to read.

I give up. Knee did like 8 hellsweeps in a row... I mean that thing is impossible to react to and very hard to predict. It's basically the win button. I hope my opponent has some sportsmanship in him and doesnt do that

Just because some pro player lost to it doesn't mean a casual player can lose to it. The fact that he didn't predict that was dumb, just like the fact that Rip lost to Chloe's DB4 spam.

you anticipate it. remember that if you block and punish it correctly, kaz has a lot to lose. also, if you are able to block and punish it a lot, it is a great deterrent for kaz players unless they like to gamble

Bit of both. If you're specifically looking for the hellsweep it's possible to react to it at times. But most of the time it's just reading people and ducking, then punishing accordingly.

Pretty sure you can't react to hellsweep. You may react to wavedash and guess correctly, but blocking 15 frame lows on reaction just doesn't happen.

That'd mean you could block low pokes on reaction.
