To be honest, I think the problem is not the missing Mokujin.
The problem is that there is no such character who copies the styles of others.
In Tekken 4 for example, there was Combot.

So it wouldn't really matter if it's Mokujin or Combot.
I mean Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has Combot AND Mokujin.
It's crazy, but can be fun.

Tekken 7 has neither Combot nor Mokujin.
I agree that it sucks.

I uhh, don't think Mokujin is possesed by the devil tho Unknown seems to be possesed.

Well, if you're not familiar with what Mokujin does, at least, from my experience in tekken 3 (the only other tekken I've played before 7) every round, his entire moveset would swap to a random character.

Anyone who was "good" with Mokujin had to be capable with all characters. It's also great fun for me, a casual, to work out what moveset I got stuck with, it's half the fun.

You're right, poop.
When Mokujin used to be in a Tekken game, there were no such "special" characters.
I mean now there is Akuma, Geese and some others, where it will probably be difficult/impossible that Mokujin (or Combot or Unknown) will copy them.

T7 is the first Tekken game since T3 to not have a mimicry character, which sucks. I love going into matches not knowing what the hell am I doing. He's my best casual character. Why not even bring back the TTT2 Combot?

he can also dress like the others!
Really cool feature by Bandai Namco!
