You can have 300 win within couple of dozens hours in a couple of days while still being a beginner in tekken. You can meet high level players at lower ranks who started over (because of corrupted save, just came from console, etc.) so keep you at these lower ranks if you have bad luck meeting with these players one after other.

You should not care about how many wincount or matches others has when you want to analyze how good or bad they are but you have to play against them to find out.

For example how many people have compared how many hours Leonel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo have been "practicing football" in their life when they want to compare their skill? The result whats important and not how fast learners they had been.

If a player for example has 5000 win in tekken while you have only 100 but they barely win against you still than there is no point to call them bad because you are probalby worse in tekken than them. The hours you have spent in the game does not matter.

I have seen this thread a dozens of times before about "Why Y is around Y rank with Z wincount?' I wonder why does it matter ?

You sound pretty defensive. Are you one of those 1k+ greenlets? Also what's up with this "If a player for example has 5000 win in tekken while you have only 100 but they barely win against you still than there is no point to call them bad because you are probalby worse in tekken than them." That's an oxymoron.

What is that an oxymoron? They won so they were better... How could be the difference in total gametime be a matter ?

Its like If the OP would do professional race on a track for the first time and would finish in the last position within a few sec after the rest than start discussing with the world that how bad those drivers were because they spent their whole life practicing that car and track and barely beat him as a rookie.

These threads sounds more like an attemp to pitty others and being disrescpectful towards players who have spent more time with the game then the authors of these kind of posts and it probably makes these "newer" players feel better or something when they loose or win against players with high wincounts.

This is my observation . I have probably around 8000 win and I am still Suzaku so I must be a very bad player because you have seen others at Twitch with 2000 are already Tekken God Prime. Sure... I am bad. But its realtive and my point was that most of the time the players who make this threads calling other players a bad are probably worse than those players they are talking about.

This is an interesting topic. I personally have seen some really boo boo players rant about their rank, or wins, or some other stat or metric...It doesn't make much sense honestly.

I am not great either-But if someone beats me I try to learn from it. Unfortunately, some players don't think this way-They would rather bash other players who beat them. Or cause issues for others because "they know best". It sucks. Or the reverse of the former, they brag and boast about beating someone with thousands of wins in a low rank-but them refuse to help them if they ask legitimate questions...

Regardless of numbers and values, it has been shown time and time again that the metrics and numbers mean next to nothing in this game when considering it's ONLINE component as an acme of skill...That cannot be debated. The Online has too many stability, save-state and other issues to warrant it as the be-all end-all measuring stick in this game. When you see local offline players and their numbers or points in tournaments, that might matter. But complaining that a player with 3500+ wins in green ranks is fighting you and you have 20 means nothing honestly. Just play the game and learn. It's important to note that time in the game is usually not spent learning all of the time...You can train incorrectly or focus on the wrong thing as well.

That's... I don't think that matters if you're already at the max rank.

Just because you're at the max rank doesn't mean you can't get better.
What I'm trying to say is in-game ranks/titles doesn't reflect your overall skill.
It's just there for show. An achievement, you can say.

Like I always say, guys like JDCR, Qudans, Knee are so good they seem to be smurfing even at TGP ranks.
