Fight stick problems (?)
I recently got a fight stick and I started playing Tekken with it. But sometimes the game would lag and force a up+back command when I'm not even trying to do it. Is it a problem with my fight stick or is it a problem with my game itself? My fight stick is the QanBa Q2Pro.

The Q2 pro (and other Qanba sticks) can sometimes be misread as both a USB input device as well as a USB controller.

I had a similar issue with a Brooks universal board.

This is how I fixed the issue:

I had to carefully, one by one, disable all of my USB controllers and devices (until I could find my keyboard and mouse) once I knew which were my mouse and keyboard, I uninstalled all of the remaining USB controllers and then promptly restarted the machine. I co tinued to keep the fightstick plugged in. Windows 10 will automatically reinstall any missing drivers on startup. Now simply start tekken and see if it fixes the issues.
Another option is to make sure steam controller in big picture is disabled. Sometimes that messes stuff up too. There is also a USB enumerator that may be causing your issue. That can also be disabled in the device manager.

IF windows is trying to install multiple devices for the Qanba, make sure there isnt a button you need to hold when you plug it in. (Many universal fightsticks have this) This way, it will hopefully only install the one driver you need. (Remember tou may need to hold that button everytime you plug the stick in)
Let us know if this helped.

Probably your pc setting or the stick itself registered as a controller, I have Qanba drone and Obsidian and they dont do problems at all

Might be worth checking to see if your restrictor gate is too tight, my friend has one that is tightened by screws instead of a clip in like sanwa has, if its too tight it can cause bad inputs or jams.
little bit of maintenance might help out. :yeah_tk:

I would check the cable and the rest of your USB devices. This problem usually occurs if your stick disconnects due to a short circuit caused by a broken cable, USB device interference or driver issues.

I had the exact same problem with my MadCatz TE2+ which had a cable break. I had to make a new cable.

I checked all the cables and stuff and everything seems to work. I even tried using my PS4 controller instead of my fight stick and it did the same thing. Now I'm thinking it's an issue with the game because I tried my fight stick in BlazBlue and Street Fighter and they didn't have this problem.
