Skipping Cutscenes

Question.

Why does it let you skip cutscenes like when a stage falls apart in the final round but no intros or outros of the opponent? Can we all admit it’s a childish means of wasting your opponents time? Can we all petition to ask devs to allow this option as I’ll put money on that nobody watches these when playing single player yet we have a culture of believing we are “triggering” the opponent. In reality you need thick skin to play tekken and nobody really cares and we simply don’t skip any cutscenes as a norm as it is now the custom. If you add up all the extra 10 second cutscenes you could be in the lobby waiting or even have another fight.

Ask yourself, where is your time better spent?
A) Watching cutscenes you’ve seen before and would never otherwise watch? Or
B) Playing more Tekken

In reality people get triggered by the smallest things and make excuses for everything.

Best would be unskippable cutscenes that would partially replace the loading screen.

If you skipped my intro against my will it would trigger me.

The cutscenes don't bother me really. I wish there were more special ones between certain characters... (Like Law vs. Paul) But as it stands they are just repetitive.

For all the young ones out there that get triggered at the cut scenes...At least it isnt like older games, where the opponent could control them by holding certain buttons after a win. Those were the days...

this is what I do: alt tab loading screen and cutscenes if they dont skip it
need to set the game to borderless fullscreen
since I do that, I got less annoyed if they dont skip intros and outros.
