What makes devil jin broken?
We can all agree that he has"da worst rage drive" in the game. Not to mention his unsafe mid launcher. His best tools are the EWGF and his fast hellsweep but the combo potential of that hellsweep is very weak.

his hellsweeps combo dmg might be low on its own but it can give good wallcarry and if it wallsplats good wall dmg, that alone makes it a very good move.
also on most male chars you can do hellsweep into d2 > ws 2 for the screw which does 45 dmg if u use the staple ender with f 3+4. it will only connect at closerange though.

his mid launcher might be unsafe but since its 15 f startup its an easy launcher to punish with instead of ewgf (if ones execution isnt that great).
kazuya and heihachi doesnt have a 15 fr standing launcher other than ewgf

other great moves besides ewgf and hellsweep are obviously his uf 4 into b4 minicombo,
ff2 (same like jins)
bf 2 1 pokes which even tracks to his weak side (djs right) and can be heavily delayed to catch ppl pressing buttons.
b4 like others mentioned is prob. the best (or one of the best) grounded hitting mid (oki) and combos on ch.
his good low pokes in db 2 and d 3. (which e.g. heihachi doesnt have)
u4 panic launcher, even pros use it sometimes cuz it even crushs/ evades mids sometimes.

full command throw arsenal with 1, 2 and 1+2 brakes. (ff 1+2, df 2+3, qcb 1+3 and a stylish laser throw in f, hcf 1+2)

fast mid powercrush with b4 followup if opp. doesnt backroll (41 dmg)

good 12f punish in b 1, 2 with good range (canceable)

good 13f ws punish in 1,4

good whiffpunish (altough very unsafe) in f 3+4. it can punish heihachis ff2 and pauls deathfist and demoman on block at every range at 16 frames and gives guaranteed followup in b4 or d 1+2 (laser) if opp. doesnt backroll for 44 / 48 dmg

overall his frames are very good with lots of key moves being safe on block.

Dont forget his good grab game. uf4 is an great move. df2 is a nice ch launcher. b4 is a great oki tool, and also a great ch launcher. Lazer scraper is also a great homing move.

You don't need to think too hard on what to do during a match, cause his spammable moves are very good. Kinda like Jins.

1,1,2 hit confirm 10i punisher
WS 11i punisher with lotsa damage
df2 safe CH launcher
High crushing panic move launcher u4
Wave dash with low,high,mid mix ups that can be combo unlike AK
Good tracking moves, ff4,ff3, uf2.. have good tracking, and high damage,safe and strings
Good pokes and plus frames
Hell sweeps makes him always a constant threat especially near wall and combo can be extended by RA or RD to give even more damage
Side step launcher
Evasive moves
Safe mid strings b,f 2,1,2 and mid pokes df1,2, high to mid poke 1,2,4,4 stagger on block
Low crushing mid knock down uf4, overall good safe knock down moves
Safe CH that has a great push back b4 which is super spamable
b1+4 or 2+3 break pressure armor
side step 2 launcher that does ton of health damage, can be a round ender, takes 70% health
d1 one of the fastest armor move in the game
a lot of moves that can be cancelled

Thanks that should shut me up for now. I subconsciously use those those tools but when you line them up like i can see why he is top tire
