This is what you call lazy ass programming and you see it in other games. you will find 1 character that is an all rounder, then used for a few days or weeks, and finally left in the shadows to die out forever. i dont need this kind of character type wasting spots.
I wasn't attacking I was more so referencing that I saw you mentioned that you main law and ended up finding a video on how much damage he can output with rage. There was no other tekken out other than TTT2 and Tekken Revolution and are we not going by those two? Every tekken game has had broken characters that destroyed the balance of the game and to ignore it would just be wearing rose tinted glasses.
I don't care who anyone plays I just want to mention that it wasn't my point, my only point here was that people tend to forget how unbalanced the older games were. so I linked TTT2 which WAS indeed taken seriously as a competitive game NOT Tekken Revolution so I'm pretty sure I can take the most recent Tekken that was featured at Evo.
I personally would look at tag 2, tekken 6 BR and probably 5 DR honestly. We all know there is dumb situations and damages that were pretty crazy in most of the games. We as players hope that each iteration is an improvement from previous installments...
My original point was that Mokujin has always had some sort of imbalance- Be it character size (movement), range, hitboxes/hurtboxes, and potential for weird situational damage upgrades or downgrades based on levels or other particulars. You cant really only look at one game to have a fair view of the timeline of balance discrepancies for the character. He is fun... But the balance would take longer than a simple skin swap for all characters is my point. No biggie.
