TEKKEN 7
Mokujin should be the 50th Character in Tekken 7
After they add the final (guest?) Character in season 3, they should add Mokujin. Mokujin was the best training dummy and is all around a fun Character with appeal to Casuals, and Hardcore Tekken fans. Imagine seeing Mokujin win a Tournament. That would be so hype, no?

Considering he's just a moveset swap Character per round, they could add him for free. He doesn't really need a drastic redesign like other Classic Tekken Characters

Mokojin is for weak players. that character only made for all rounders back in the days. as you can see it is the living wooden man of Wing Chun. it was a data collector for the lazy to do bits and pieces of all the characters of the roster.

This is what you call lazy ass programming and you see it in other games. you will find 1 character that is an all rounder, then used for a few days or weeks, and finally left in the shadows to die out forever. i dont need this kind of character type wasting spots.

I made it to Tekken God as Mokujin, The trick is spending a couple months on each character then when you memorize a good majority of the stances, tricks,, and what not, you play Mokujin and rolling death cradle the ♥♥♥♥ out of your opponent.

I don't know why you went and sort of attacked me into this... I was essentially agreeing with both of you. Doesn't make sense to only look at Tag2 for damage evaluation. It would be smarter to compare multiple versions of the games in question?

Why do you focus on Law and paint me into this stuff? Many other characters can do just as much damage or more so... Remember the classic Lee video from Tekken 4's Heihachi arena?

I wasn't attacking I was more so referencing that I saw you mentioned that you main law and ended up finding a video on how much damage he can output with rage. There was no other tekken out other than TTT2 and Tekken Revolution and are we not going by those two? Every tekken game has had broken characters that destroyed the balance of the game and to ignore it would just be wearing rose tinted glasses.

I don't care who anyone plays I just want to mention that it wasn't my point, my only point here was that people tend to forget how unbalanced the older games were. so I linked TTT2 which WAS indeed taken seriously as a competitive game NOT Tekken Revolution so I'm pretty sure I can take the most recent Tekken that was featured at Evo.
Sorry if it seemed like an attack on you Lefty but I'm not in the crowd to demonize someone for playing a certain character. You can play whoever you want if you enjoy playing that character whether it be an abstract character like Lei to the character lots of people would pick up I.E. Mishimas.
If TTT2 wasn't considered a 'competitive' game then people would've still been running T6 tournaments while T7 was being developed so to ignore TTT2 and its unbalancing would be kind of avoiding the point of the majority of tekken games being horribly unbalanced.
That's cool. I was just getting some criticism and some surprising responses from the lag switch thread...

I personally would look at tag 2, tekken 6 BR and probably 5 DR honestly. We all know there is dumb situations and damages that were pretty crazy in most of the games. We as players hope that each iteration is an improvement from previous installments...

My original point was that Mokujin has always had some sort of imbalance- Be it character size (movement), range, hitboxes/hurtboxes, and potential for weird situational damage upgrades or downgrades based on levels or other particulars. You cant really only look at one game to have a fair view of the timeline of balance discrepancies for the character. He is fun... But the balance would take longer than a simple skin swap for all characters is my point. No biggie.
Combot is also a fun random insert op move character as well... not the same as mokujin, but somewhat similar.
Bowser should be the 50th character in Tekken 7

there are tournaments for every game, Smash Ultimate for instance, the creator said himself, he does not make the characters balanced for tournaments, he focuses on FUN more than GAMEPLAY, yet SMASH ULTIMATE is STILL AT EVO. Things that are popular are played, that's all there is to it... TTT2 was not balanced, Tekken 6 BR was.
