what are "accurate" Tier Lists ? They are all bs or subjective. Also the balance will change in just few days or weeks with Season 3 release...

I'm aware of season 3, but it isn't season 3 yet so it doesn't matter.

It's not a perfect list, I could name several flaws and all chars are tournament legit, but I would say this is the best ranking we can find online.

Tekken is way too balanced for something like this.

There is a good argument for playing a very simplistic character for learning tho.
Since it will teach you the fundamentals better than for example a complicated character like hwo would.

I'm not trying to be meta slave or something, just wanting to see who's regarded as top.Tbh I wanted to find smooth character for my playstyle that's playable with keyboard. I've tried Kazuya death fist, wasn't even close on doing it although I somehow did it in 3 tries. Even 10 combo was easier than death fist.

For beginners ease of use is 100% more important than projected top power level though. So keep an eye on that too. Chars with rangy moves, easy inputs and evasive hurtboxes are always powerful. Katarina, noctis, shaheen, asuka etc.

If you want to know what the general feeling in the pro/upper-level community is like, the current tier list is some variation on the following:

Top-tier: Geese, Kazumi, Steve, DVJ, Law, Jin, probably Akuma

Bottom-tier: Gigas, Lars, Bears

Middle-tier: Everyone else.

But really, not only is the game incredibly balanced but tier lists go completely out the window at everything below pro-level play. Among intermediate players online, certain characters are just going to steamroll the competition due to either ease-of-use or the fact that they require unintuitive methods to counteract - even if they technically aren't top-tier.

death fist? Do you mean electric? Cuz death fist is a paul move.

pick law if you want to play with keyboard. his slide is fukn easy with keyboard and if you can do it fast its hella strong and annoying.

his dss transitions are also way easier with keyboard than with pad if you are used it.


i have a friend who mains bryan and law with keyboard and damn his input and combos are crazy.

tried bryan was quite doable , i might like law again for this reason

We should see if Knee makes one when S3 drops out. He's TGP with all characters, so his list would be the most accurate.
