Who is the most popular female character in Tekken ?

I saw somewhere in reddit where some posters were saying that Asuka Kazama is the most popular one .

Imo Nina Williams is the most popular one.

Why ?

1.She has been in every Tekken games.(Even spin off Tekken games like Tekken advance)

2.She had her own game, Death By Degrees.(Even though that the game was executed poorly)

3.She has been in every Tekken cartoons and movies.(She was in the motion picture one,Blood Vengeance and in that crappy Tekken movie)

4.She was the only female character that survived being cut/replaced in Tekken 3.(Besides Anna that added in the PS1 version)

5.She is also one of the few female character that actually has interactions with the main characters.

6.She also appeared in the non canon Tekken comics.

I've heard from a DOA forum(Free Step Dodge) that Asuka Kazama is the most popular tekken character in that regard.

I never even heard of Asuka 'til I played Tekken 7.

It's probably either Nina or "Nin-Shao-Yu", cause they were both in Tekken 3 and didn't require unlocking.

I don't think so, If Jun was really popular she wouldn't be killed off in Tekken 3.(And whe wouldn't been replaced by Asuka.)

Nah, if Jun was popular enough she would have been revived instead of being replaced by a schoolgirl.

In Tekken 5, they brought back lots of missing characters like Baek , Bruce , Roger , Armor King , Ganryu , Wang but instead of bringing back Jun they just replaced her.

Also story reasons are not valid. Above characters were killed off in Tekken 3 but were brought back.(Kazuya and Lee were also dead that were brought back in 4.Heihachi was also killed off in the opening of 5 but was brought back.)

They could just add some interactions with her and Jin where she tries to stop him but fails. Story of Tekken has always been 50 percent fan service since they always bring back fan favorite characters in the story.
