So is Noctis hated by everyone?

I started playing Noctis, I was playing Negan. But when i play Noctis online nobody rematches me either i win or lose. I only get rematchs with people who are clearly really good at the game. So i can really climb. Should i drop him since nobody likes playing against him?

He is annoying character to play with. Stupid range attacks, Low ranged spear for instance. Wrap Strike is another. New people is having hard time against him. If you are having fun with Noct, carry on using him

It's not about Noctis, some people simply don't rematch when they get their ass*s handed to them :D

Really can't speak for everyone, but I really dislike that character.
My extreme dislike for him doesn't come from Tekken 7. It's Final Fantasy Kingsglaive related while also projecting in this game. Instead of someone cool (if they had to use FFXV character) like Nyx Ulric, we got this weak a55 punk, with charisma of wooden floor. I correct myself, I've seen floors with more charisma than him.
Having the moveset like this didn't help either.

It's relative. If you are used to Cloud or Lightning, Noctis won't impress you ;-)

Design-wise I welcome noctis. Tekken does lack boys since Leo is gender neutral.



But I do dislike the weapon summoning. the teleportation.

It`s funny how some players hate 2D and DLC characters while playing as other annoying characters. I`m pretty sure Eddy is on that list too.

Eddy is a legacy tekken character he doesn't have fireballs and meter nonsense, comparing him to 2D characters is dumb

he has a bat and he plays nothing like a tekken character...i never said Negan is a 2D character

Is there some kind of official guide or explanation how Tekken characters should be played or it`s one of those user-made standards? Is bat worse than chainsaws and katana these days?

just like Noctis most of his moves are done with a long range weapon... i'm pretty sure this disqualifies Negan as a tekken character

and Alisa's chanisaws and Yoshimitsu's sword have limited uses, it's not the same thing

So long range moves are worse than fast close pressure or mid-low mixes?
Btw. You do know that Eliza is Tekken character, right?

he's nothing like a tekken character that was the discussion here not that long range moves are worse that close range moves don't change the subject

and i don't care that Eliza is officially a tekken character cause unofficially she's not and you know it.

He has combos, highs, mids, few lows and other Tekken stuff. No fireballs or meter. Looks like Tekken character to me...
