Which region has to most pc players ?

Hi im new to the game, i selected US for my region and its a struggle to find games. According to steamcharts the player count is reasonably high at ~2500, I want to know which region has the bulk of all these players. Any help is appreciated.

Do the region settings actually do anything? Doesn't the game match you based on your actual location?

In Europe I get plenty of matches. I went on a trip to Australia and couldn't find anyone. My region settings were the same.

Wow really?! I’m in the US and I don’t have to wait long for a match.

Europe has problably the most of the playerbase. You will find a match in seconds anywhere from Great Britain to the borders of Russia. In USA it might depends a little where you are.

Japan/korea don't have that much players but they are concentrated on a very small area so its surely easy to find a match I'm sure.

I live in Colorado, US of course. I get matches very quickly. sometimes within seconds, sometimes within about 40 seconds, but I never wait long.

I personaly believe EU and NA have the most ONLINE players.

I dont think that Region has anything to say how you get matched. I got also matched with people who had Region NA and India.
