With controller, tapping up allows me to sidestep left, but to sidestep right, I have to doubletap down in order to move that way.
Are you using a controller, keyboard, or Fightstick?
It'll seriously help people trying to help you if they know what you're using.
Tekken the movement takes a lot of practice and the backdash cancel and sidestep cancel where you have to press d,d,b.. if you like moving like a staggering rigid idiot and you are comfortable with that playing Tekken for years, maybe thats okay.
But over the years of looking my character moving like a freak, i was hoping the new technology and over the years, they would improve the gameplay, instead Namco decided to add fire balls and anime which they call it innovation.
You dont "Need" KBD to win.
You're still an idiot.
If you are using a low tier character, and dont have much set ups and reliable moves, then you need to master movement, and the movement is frustrating in this game and requires a lot of practice, because make one wrong input and a character like Lucky Chloe with her rediculours range and launcher would take 70% of your health.
