How do I play Lee?

Sadly such guides seem to be very rare. This isn't part of a series, as far as I know. I just found it randomly on the Tekken reddit when it was newly posted.

Lee is a counter hit character. His best damage will come from stuff like CH 2,2,3 and CH d+3 HMS4. As such, you need to think very critically about what the other player does and how they behave, because you need to exploit it. He also thrives at the wall, and has some of the best and flashiest wall carry in the game

He's a really fun and rewarding character, and the only one besides asuka that interests me, but it is hard as hell to be good with him

That guide is awesome. Maybe I'll try and pick up Lee, even though I prefer female characters... it seems he fit my style better than my main, I use Asuka kinda like you're supposed to use Lee according to that guide, I'm always fishing for counterattacks and trying to force the opponent to make mistakes, using frame traps, etc. and it seems Lee is way better suited for that than Asuka.
I should be turtling being an Asuka main but I never have the patience to do that, so I end up being the one attacking, and Asuka is not very good on the ofensive.

If you prefer female characters+you like counter hit and frame trap,your answer is Katarina.Well people complain about her 4444444444 but u wont actually spam it if u want to play it her decently.You will either stop at 4,4 or 4,4,4 because you can counter hit launch both ways.You can check SpaghettiRip and FrameWhisperer for her guide.
