guard damage ?
Is the option "guard damage" gone ?

I can not find it anywhere.

If so can it please be inserted in the game again, it's good for those guys that always block, give a punch and than block again the whole time,...

I would like the option offline for the arcade and if possible online too.

Thanks

It's a OPTION dude, you can just let it be as is. In the previous games it was like this.

There is no option to turn on guard damage in any mode.

However, simply choose Eliza, Kazumi, Akuma or Geese and spam their super / special moves for all the chip damage you want (hint: it still won't help beat any decent opponent if you continue to refuse to learn how to apply "real" offense).

Well I want the option back :)

you cant stand block a low attack, and you cant crouch block a mid attack. its that way for a reason, you want to mix up pokes and strings so that peeps cant just block all of your pressure

low attacks are essentially chip damage in this game. its what keeps you from stand blocking 24/7

yeah I noticed, back in the day I just used that option, however I can see that you get also big disadvantages of this, I only played vs cpu and that does not spam attacks,... So I still think it's usefull in arcade or survival (hope this comes back via update) vs cpu

Tekken has never had block damage. The 2D characters that don't really belong have like 0.5 damage chip on their projectiles being blocked though

The block damage was off by default, but the option to turn it on was there.

Hmmm, now that i'm reading this it does sound vaguely familiar. I seem to remember thinking "Why would anyone use this?"

I stand by that sentiment now.
