It's a OPTION dude, you can just let it be as is. In the previous games it was like this.
However, simply choose Eliza, Kazumi, Akuma or Geese and spam their super / special moves for all the chip damage you want (hint: it still won't help beat any decent opponent if you continue to refuse to learn how to apply "real" offense).
Well I want the option back :)
low attacks are essentially chip damage in this game. its what keeps you from stand blocking 24/7
yeah I noticed, back in the day I just used that option, however I can see that you get also big disadvantages of this, I only played vs cpu and that does not spam attacks,... So I still think it's usefull in arcade or survival (hope this comes back via update) vs cpu
The block damage was off by default, but the option to turn it on was there.
Hmmm, now that i'm reading this it does sound vaguely familiar. I seem to remember thinking "Why would anyone use this?"
I stand by that sentiment now.
