The ballance in "Casual Matches" is ridiculous!
I'm 3rd DAN and fight most against green ranks like Fighter or Vanguard, so wtf?!

You don't get better playing equal/lower skilled opponents. Take your beating and learn to get better.

not only that. many good players refuse to go ranked so they stay at a low rank making the chances higher for them to go up against noobs
there are just too many try hard players on casual.
its getting rather annoying to this point.
even casual play needs a decent matchmaking to have you play against people around the same skill level. it would make it easier to learn from experience.
as now i often either get total noobs that stand no chance or people who are pro dash cancelers, know all their strings and manage to keep the pressure up.
this is honestly killing the game for me. its a good fighter but theres no room to learn from experience when there is such a big difference in opponents.
and saying that i should play practice mode or arcade to become better is just plain stupid.
if it takes you hours to be good so you can have even an ounce of fun in a game then its just bad matchmaking
still enjoy the systems the game has but the casual matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and bandai namco should look at other games that have decent casual matchmaking. as in many different games the casual matchmaking is still somewhat balanced.
where in tekken there doesnt seem to be any balance in casual matchmaking.

i play on ps4 btw and dont own it on steam

You only need a basic fighting game knowledge so you know why you lost but than I think you will learn a lot more from playing against a much better player (even if you loose 20 match straight) than from "mashing buttons" against similar levels and playing close matches.

Casual (and by that you mean quick matches) ignore rank entirely. You get who you get.
same rank level doesnt necessarily mean same skill level

nice necro.
game mode is called quick match, not 'non ranked for casuals'

found your problem. you don't want to get better at the game. all thoes times you run into people and you eat their strings cause you were not sure how to deal with it. you could have went to practise mode and learned what you options are.

sure you can only playonline and get better. i can garentee you will learn much slower then the person who goes into practise mode and understands how to beat a certan situation.

quickmatch is actually online hard mode because you get matched with reds and rulers.

in ranked, you can actually be matched with people that's within or near your rank
There's something you need to understand, it's that at higher ranks finding games can be very hard in ranked. If there was a "balance" in casual matches, it'd make the game unplayable for higher ranks as they'd then have trouble finding matches in both game modes when they just want to play.
