As u said, he already "died" sometimes and i cannot imagine a Tekken Game without Hei. I have a feeling that he will come back as the boss of Tekken 8 or 9 with some powers like jinpachi.

Heihachi is pretty much like Kazuya except that he doesn't have the devil's gene. I expect him to cheat death by volcano.

either they're gonna retcon it like they did with kazuya or he's dead for good

however, after they went through the trouble of making a cinematic story mode which supposedly marks the 'end of the mishima feud', i am inclined to believe he actually died for real

They say it's the end of it yet Jin is very well alive. Even though he bears his mother's name, there is still a "mishima feud" very well alive. I have a hard time to believe they,ll let Heihachi stay dead in any shape or form. Might be some kind of Jinpachi-like revival but I bet it's not the end of him.

Nah, he's definitely dead. Dude, he died from heart attack and then he has just became nothing in volcano, there is really now way for him to stay alive, but he will be in t8 as a flashback playable character, or as some robot with his move list, for sure, probably first option, cause he is like favorite Harada's character.

spoilers tho..

First *spoiler warning*.

Heihachi, for the sake of the tekken 7 story is dead. Even though Kazuya has been thrown into a volcano and returned, Heihachi wasn't supposed to carry the devil gene and was just one hell of a resilient human being which has been thrown off clifs, punched through metal robots, and was blown up, and woke up miles away from the blast area. Still, if they want him in the game they just need to use the excuse that Jinpaichi has a different type of devil gene, and it is only awoken after some tramatic experience, or when his physical body dies, or something like that.

The story was supposed to put an end to the Mishima family feud, but with Kazuya, lee, lars and jin being alive it will live on. It may not be the same struggle to hold the mishima zaibatsu, but they all still have ties to one another.

u have a good point about jinpaichi devil gene. I mean they cant just kill him he is kinde of main character in the series but its not about thet the game holds on the family war and stuf i gues resurection is what heihachi is going to get and i cant w8 2 see what will be up in tekken 8

Heihachi is Harada's favorite character. I doubt he's finished with Heihachi just yet.

Heihachi being at the ground zero of an explotion and then waking up miles away, that explotion would need some serious heat in it to blow him such a distance. Now, lava is really hot, but if he survived an explotion that took him miles away, he can probably make it out of the volcano if the storywriters decides it. Maybe he wakes up from a shock after hitting the lava, I dunno.

True about the explosion, it was kind of glossed over how insane that is in his prologue in tekken 5, but it's more than just laval that's the issue

In the story ending (minus the bonus ending with shin akuma) Kazuya punches Heihachi so hard, while he is weakened, that you hear his heart stop, and this is before he throws his carcas into lava. It's implied he was dead before he even hits the lava.

Some sort of supernatural resurrection is not out of the picture, but again, as far as the story is right now, Heihachi is dead, beyond just dead. I won't put it past having to fight either his ghost in the future, or some resurected monster, but regular Heihachi is burnt toast.

Seems fair, just that common logic can't be used in this series seeing as then everyone would be dead. And I also said maybe and I dunno. I don't believe my theory to be right, but considering everything else that has happened it wouldn't surprise me.

Until I get visual confirmation that heihachi died or even hit the lava when he was thrown in I don't believe he's dead.
