Hori Fight Commander for Mishima?

Anyone mishima mains use this controller? Namely this one[www.amazon.com]. My ps3 pad's dpad is squishy and unresponsive from years of use and am wanting to try something new. Need a responsive d-pad for KBD, wavedash, ewgf, etc. If not this, does anyone else have any recommendations? I'm not a fan of the DS4 d-pad compared to DS3.
