Can't do one of Jacks moves because I use keyboard
Jack's Gigaton Punch requires you to input a "lever spin", which I believe is rotating the analog stick around and around, but this is currently impossible to do on the keyboard. I feel a little cheated because I can't do a move due to the controller choice I've made, even if people would think the move is useless, I'd still like the ability to perform it.

This is an arcade game basically...not having the right controller is on YOU. This is like almost 2018, controllers are easy to have, maybe time to think about expanding your choices if you want to play fighting games.

It's very doable, if you train you fingers.

You don't need an analog stick for this. Works just fine with a d-pad. So it should work on keyboard as well, if you can do the input correctly.

If you like the game invest in a fightstick.
Controllers for sports games, steering wheels for driving games, HOTAS sticks for flight sims etc. (as a loose guide anyway)

If you can try and make the swap to the fightstick for fighting games it will make a difference to your play, just because you can use a keyboard for tekken dosent make it the best choice, or even try to use one for a bit before buying one but definatly look into it if you are a tekken fan.

if you like keyboard - you will love a hitbox. It is a better version of keyboard for fighting games

I do, and I've tried many inputs to make him spin his arm around more than once. Getting no results.

Tried going to practice mode, turning input history on and seeing what goes wrong with your input?

Using that helped me figure out what exactly goes wrong with some moves and then you can just practice the part seeing the actual input you're doing. It's pretty handy.

The move just says "lever spin" after the name Gigaton Punch. I looked up the term and the inputs and tried them on the keyboard, but to no avail.

So you went to the practice mode, did the "lever spin" and those arrows were like doing the circle motion correctly?

I was able to do it in tekken 5 on ps2, but getting the input AND rhythm correct takes some practice. You have to do it right on time, no mistakes. I can see it being hard with a keyboard.

So basically go there and see if the input looks like that. If it does, your rhythm is wrong. If it doesn't, you're doing it wrong.

Not saying it's not really hard on keyboard, but there's nothing that should prevent you from doing it as long as the input is correct.

After a bit of persistence, and breaking a couple fingers I actually managed to wind up all the way and get the full punch. Practing that will take some years.

Thanks fellas.
