Tekken 7 Problem with Controller Xbox!?

Guys i have buy tekken yesterday, and now one: for menu i need to use my keyboard because controller dont work, then i have start to play ranked and the controller dont work!, only movement, X Y A B dont do nothing... how i can fix that!? thanks

only D-pad works in menus for tekken, anlogsticks do not do anything in menus.


i was having some problems with my contorllers in tekken, all sorts of weird behaviours.

turns out the issue was steam contoller support.

Steam > Settings > General Controller Support > do not have the boxes ticked.

forwhatever reason the game takes the xinput and the steam contoller layouts and mashes them up with some undesired results.

^ if this is not the problem, then you can do the reverse and enable the check box, then make a custom config binding your controller inputs as keyboard inputs.

The same things happens to me with my ps4 controller from time to time. When I launch the game prior to launching Steam. This makes Steam use the desktop configuration for the controller. Usually I just have to restart the game to fix this but you might want to check your controller settings (both the general ones and the ones for Tekken 7 specifically).

I have same problem, that tekken 7 uses desktop configuration. however, in my case, restart doesn't help me. where can i get that controller setting?

FYI xbox pad is the worst pad for Tekken

I got it to work in Windows 10. I first launched the game to get to the menu. I noticed the start button and D Pad worked, but none of the other buttons. If you have this problem try these steps after getting to the main menu.

1) Open Control Panel.

2) Click on Devices and Printers

3) Remove any generic controllers that are installed. DO NOT remove the current controller you are using.

4) Alt + Tab back over to Tekken

5) Kick some butt!

It turns out I had multiple controllers set up and it they were conflicting in the game.Hope this helps.
