Is there something I can delete from the game?
The game is about 60 GB, which is really quite towards the 'big size' for a game. I am pretty sure most of those GB are the videos for the cinematics and old tekken videos.

Anyway, I am currently on a trip and the game runs quite ok on the surface pro 4. I have a 128GB SSD and I was wondering if maybe somebody already figured out what to delete so to contain the game size. As long as it's cinematics etc, it should not have any impact on the game and game content at all, did somebody already do this?

An option to remove just the cutscenes or having them as a separate download to save space would be fantastic.

Steam\SteamApps\common\TEKKEN 7\TekkenGame\Content\Movies\

you can delete all the movie files.
only folders you shouldnt touch are the ui and stage folder.

gets rid of something about 20 gb space!

Wouldn't the deleted files be re-downloaded by Steam?

till now it did not happened to me.
my tekken 7 folder has now a size of 35,6 GB

when possible do a backup before you delete things there, just in case.

Yeah I thought about deleting the movies as well (at least on my tablet, on the desktop pc storage space is not a problem) but maybe there was even something else 'deletable'. I'll go on and deleted the movies.

BTW of course you can re-download everything by checking the game files in the library options for tekken 7 in steam, it will check what files are there and re-download the missing ones (for those who didn't know).

i think whenever the game auto-updates as well it would notice if some files are missing but I am not sure.

Hello there! You could move your tekken movies folder to elsewhere, the best solution for this is to create a mklink, it's an advanced type of shortcut.
Here's how you do it, first of all, you should locate your TEKKEN 7 movies folder, in my case it is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 7\TekkenGame\Content

Ok, now you should move the Movies folder to another location, in my case I moved it to an HDD instead of my SSD.
PS:. You should remove this folder from this location, in case you want to make a backup, you should rename it to something else, for example MoviesBkp.

Now you should open CMD and type the command to create this shortcut, in my case, it looks like this:
mklink /J "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 7\TekkenGame\Content\Movies" "D:\Misc\TEKKENMovies\Movies"

PS:. You should keep the path inside quotation marks.

To sumarize this command line, I'll explain it here:
mklink /J -> This is the command to create this type of shortcut.
"C:\Pro... -> This is the path where you are creating this shortcut.
"D:\Mis... -> This is the path where you want the shortcut to point to.

Now the game will think that the movies folder is located in its default folder, but is not!

I hope it helps, and sorry if my english is a bit incorrect.
Good fighting! =D

Just for people in the future that want to save some space just lookup a reddit by /u/serfy2 he uploaded a very very small sized replacements for these big movie files, this way you save up space while also preventing steam from redownloading all of the files whenever it analyzes the integrity of those. Thanks a bunch to serfy2 for this.
