Dragunov's iWR 2?
What would be the best way to practice this? I know most people buffer with a jab, but I feel like I'm missing something. Most of the time I get his ff+2 instead

There is no trick, you just have to do it faster, and make sure you press the last f and 2 simultaneously.
Also, what's the difference between ff 2 and fff 2? I know fff 2 has a "hissing" sound, but functionally what's the difference?

Ff2 is punishable. f,f,n,f 2 is safe, gives + frames on block.

You have to train how to properly do the inputs first.

Get in practice mode and do it properly, even if that means not doing an iwr2 at first. What you need to do is getting a hand on the timing, then you'll work on your execution. So firstly do it far away even if you whiff and then the more comfortable you are the closer you can try that move until you call pull up consistently at 0 range.

Good luck

It gets easier based on distance, for example doing it in someones face is much harder than 1 backdash away. 2 backdashes away you should be getting it 100% with a bit of practice. It's actually not that difficult just need to be fast. The most consistent way seems to be very fast ff then hold the last f and press 2 after that but also very quickly. The closer you are to your opponent the faster you need to input is what i found out. If you're messing it up you should get f2 not ff2, if you're getting ff2 you're doing it wrong, if you get f2 you're doing it slow.
