Scripting in game

One of my friends is using a script to create macros Example being king's grapple combos and fast wavedashing at the press of a button to activate/deactivate is this bannable/acceptable to use in player matches and ranked? seeing as it clearly gives an advantage i would expect it not to be allowed.

at the end of the day there is nothing you can do against it and you should concentrate on yourself to have fun and get better. carring about stuff you cant change brings nothing.

Yes, people using macros will end up reaching a skill level where they don't offer much of an advantage. However, that means they'll be stuck playing against players who are at a skill level where macros *do* offer an advantage, as players haven't necessarily memorized strings and how to block / counter them yet.

I think it would be possible to make it slightly harder to use 'em by detecting the consistent, short inputs - so cheaters would have to go out of their way to use a program that alternates them or something.
