Does anyone think turning into Devil Kazuya is worth it?

His electric becomes mid, but I think it's -8 on block.
His df1,4 is gone. Limits his combo options.
I know about his f4 being able to combo on crouching opponents.
His hell sweep extension does tons of damage but hard to do consistently.
By the time you're able to transform, you're nearly dead.
Better to go for a rage art combo?

There is word on the street that devil electric is actually -8 on block on the console version. I am gonna test in a second.

EDIT: I can confirm that his electric is not jab punishable in this version. Tekken Chicken has most of the frame data from the arcade version so it doesn't list little things like this.

Anyway, I think that his rage drive is overall his best tool in rage and fortunately you get Devil from it on hit. Kazuya is overall a better character in Devil but you have to learn to take advantage of his buffs. Especially since he has different combos. Standing twin pistons, safe mid electrics, ridiculous f4, and better combo damage overall is definitely worth it if you can make it work.

I have to check this out myself. Its just hard to believe that they gave him practically TTT1 EWGF, minus the plus frames.

It's fairly justified as there is no pushback on the Devil version and effectively ends your turn because of how minus it still is. Making it -10 is basically death since you're already so near death when you get Devil. I think it's a smart balance at -8 or -9. I tested it with Jack's f2 which is 10f with good range, not that it matters since the Devil EWGF does not have pushback anyway.

The push block was the plus frames.

Oh well. I prefer using his rage drive as a combo filler anyway.

TheMainMan likes to use the rage drive in neutral and if they block it, he likes to try go for a df2 counter hit.
