Controllers that work for desktop/laptop?
So I was wondering which controllers is the easiest to use when playing this on desktop/laptop. Easiest to use meaning I just need to connect the controllers and its ready to use, no need to download a third party software. Any suggestions?

Logitech Gamepad F310. Has a familiar PlayStation feel to it, analog triggers, an awesome D-pad and both xinput and directinput support on the fly with the switch of a button.
Depends, PS4 and Xbox controllers o feel is a given

And if there is the driver for controllers like Harada said there is could be as simple as plugging in whatever from sticks to controllers to converters.

I would suggest the actual PS4 controller. It's usually well supported and naturally done so!

Does that mean Tekken 7 on PC has native PS4 controller support? Like, i don t have to run an emulator? just plug the controller and it appears the PS4 layout?

isn't the ps4 controller using bluetooth connectivity?...what if his computer is like mine and doesn't have bluetooth?

the ps4 controller doesn't even have official PC support people are using a third party software to make it look like a xbox controller....OP asked for a controller that you don't need to do anything just plug and play pure and simple.

this is a bit tricky

i use the xbox 360 controller for PC and it works straight up but i can't tell how good it is for tekken i'll have to wait and see...supposedly the dpad sucks for fighting games

the ps4 controller uses bluetooth i don't think it works if your PC has no bluetooth compatibilty
and i'm not even sure it has official pc support which means you gotta deal with 3rd party programs

the xbox1 controller was first only windows 10 compatible so if you have windows 7 i don't know if you can just plug and play without needing anything else... and it doesn't come with the wireless adaptor you need to buy it separately (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ microsoft)

then you have razer controllers which are more expensive but there's no question marks about them you can be sure they will work straight up and they are top notch

these are pretty much the most reliable controllers on the market...maybe someone can clear up the question marks regarding the ps4 controller and xbox1

Xbox controllers overall for Tekken is what you give to your worst enemy..

PS4 pads I believe will work from jump, just wire it up.

Legacy controllers are still unknown at this point

Thank Christ for PS2 to Xbox 360/One converters just in case they pull a Capcom and say xinput only for the first 5 years of the game.

Er for all the games I play on PC, I just plug my PS4 controller in (using the charger cable) and it works. I've never had an issue.
