Matchmaking is unbelieveably bad

Almost 8000 online right now, how is there no fair matches to be had? I got to 1st Dan on one character and since it raised everyone its now impossible for me to try anyone new. I have maybe a 20% win rate since promotion and I get wrecked every match. I tried quick match and it matched my 4 win chacater against someone with over 40 wins. Have all the noobs been run off by this ♥♥♥♥? This is the worst matchmaking in any game I've played ever.

number of wins mean nothing... look at rank...
you can get 200 wins but still be noob on 1st Dan

So you're asking them to:

Connect to someone with a good ping

AND

Connect to someone of your skill level

AND

Connect to someone before you fall asleep from boredom

AND

Connect to someone who has played their character as much as you've played yours

The pool of available players shrinks everytime (remember 8k people are playing the game - but only a fraction of that are currently looking for a ranked/unranked game at the same time). It's just unrealistic to get all 4 of those - maybe 3 out of 4 at best and it seems like they're prioritizing correctly.

You would be lucky to get even 2 of those out of the player count. OP just wants to win. Practice is all I can tell him. Then go online when you get your game up.
