XBOX360 Controller not working for menus, keyboard neither.

Just got the game and spent the last 20 minutes browsing the board because I can't get it to work. The only input the game recognises from xbox360 & keyboard is left/right as well as confirm/cancel. I can't move up oder down in a menu, neither with gamepad nor with keyboard. Tried to configure the Pad via Steam, didnt work. Tried to plug it in later, didnt work.

Am I missing something here? Do I have to refund or is there any way of fixing/patching this (planned)?

It's wierd, normally it's just plug and play, since you're using a XBOX controller you probably don't use any mapping software and you're saying your keyboard doesn't work too...

Does your game launches through steam big picture?

Yeah, just tried. I can launch from big picture as well. It's not like it doenst work at all, its just the up and down keys missing...strang. Needless to say it does work in other games

try going into controller configuration in the controller options - on big picture mode - should allow you to change which buttons do what. Im on a ps4 controller though so not sure if it would work the same

I play it with 360 controller and works fine to me.

Ok, thanks guys for telling me to do again what I thought I already did
Just got it working (in Steam, no need for Big Picture). Went for Controllerconfiguration and loaded up the Tekken 7 Preset (which was for some reason not active befor). This matched DPAD Inputs to my Directional Pad. Works now, thanks guys! How Ill get the Stick to work as DPAD though
