Player 1 with controller versus player 2 with keyboard?

Does that work somehow? I can't get my keyboard to do anything. In versus mode I'm supposed to press "start" and that's either "B" or "HOME" on the keyboard and both don't work.

Maybe try pressing escape? I don't know if keyboard as P2 works or not, but I can't see why it wouldn't. Or you can try P1 with the keyboard and P2 with the controller. That should work

That doesn't work either. I can't use the keyboard for anything...

That is a point. I wasn't able to use the keyboard with a controller connected either. (Or I ws just pressing the wrong buttons, but I doubt it).

I don't know if the game supports connecting controllers after starting it, but start the game with the controller disconnected and see if the keyboard works. If so, then go to the versus mode and when it asks for P2 to press start, try plugging the controller back in and seeing if it does anything. Kinda a long shot, but it might work

For me the problem was that i'm using a wireless controller so you must have the controller active before you boot up the game. if you try to activate a controller after the game is open, it will disable the keyboard. however if the controller is active before you start the game, they should both work.

Ok, keyboard ONLY works if I pressed it after the start of the game where the game wants you to press start to get to the main menu.

I use controller after starting the game
then i assign player 1 with controller and by pressing B to assign player to keyboard :)
It works. or maybe you should start the game assigning keyboard first and then start the controller

I tried that. It didn't work. I can't even navigate the menus with the keyboard. But if I don't use the controller before getting to the main menu everything works.
