e.g. kings giant swing requires me to do f b b/d d f/d f 1
super hard on dpad but analog makes it so much easier
its either you practice switching fast, practice with analog instead, or practice it with dpad
problem with dpad is also a good thing.
the buttons being so small and close together makes it easier to do moves like f b f button
but being so small and close together, your thumb might hit down with b or f messing up your move.
If you hold the down input or the downforward input for too long, the crouch dash will not come out, thus the Phoenix Smasher will not either.
It's all a matter of practice in the end. Just sit down every day for 15-30 minutes and practice it from both sides, depending on how quick of a learner you are, you will nail it sooner or later.
I play on d-pad, too and can do 50 smashers in a row. It's not impossible.
Yep, you're right. It's impossible. Nobody who has ever played a fighting game on pad has ever done a fireball or a phoenix smasher.
I have bad news for you:
That move is easy, and a basic skill you need to play almost any fighter.
If you can't do that, or claim that it is impossible, you're either missing a thumb or have some work to do.
I can teach that move to a 7-year old in 10 minutes.
Just because I said impossible doesnt mean I claim that to be impossible I just mean its hard for me.Doing hadouken on keyboard is way too easier.
