Any way to change "Main" character?

In Online, I can't join player matches because everyone kicks me. The reason for this is usually my rank, which is "Initiate" on Gigas. I don't really play alot of Gigas online, but whenever I tell people that I don't use him, they kick me anyway. Is there a way to change this so that I can at least use other characters that aren't as high ranked, without getting kicked?

i dont get why people kick you tho gigas isnt super great

EDIT: also if your in warm up it only shows the character your playing not your highest ranked

I mostly do player matches nowadays, which I get kicked from. And I guess they just think that because my rank is higher than 3rd Dan(I prefer to play with people from around my skill level, which is barely around 3rd Kyu), they think I'm some kind of amazing player.

i think if you do quick match it will only show the character your playing and that characters rank but dont quote me on that

Did people clearly tell you it's because you re initiate?

maybe they are kicking you because of your connection bar being bad i wouldnt want to play against ppl who have less than 3 bars

My bars are usually 4 or 5, so that's not really a problem.

A few have, but others didn't. The ones who didn't usually were Beginners.

Then maybe select the option filtering opponent by level: Logically other "initiate±4" shouldnt kick you because of your level

... There's no option for that in Player Matches.

Just go to the warm up option , no one will kick you . I just started using Gigas today. I did well against some and terrible against others. Hes fun to use though i just need to learn how to use him better.
