Does ps2 controller work perfectly?

I wanna buy this game but I don't play any console (like ps4 or xbox) so I only have controllers from my ps2. Ofc, i've got the hardware to connect it to my pc.

So my question is, does it work perfectly with tekken 7? This is not a game to play with keyboard so this will be the main reason about if I buy this game.

(In some games i've got real problems to play with it like in DS3, so i would be really happy if someone who uses a ps2 controller (or in the worse case a ps3) confirms me)

DS3 works, but with 3rd party tools (better DS3 or SCP Driver for example). I don't think you will have an answer, it depends on hardware you are using to connect your DS2 to PC. I believe SCP Driver works with DS2, but better to check it out by yourself.

Yeah. Using a ps1 controller, using everything from a generic ps2 to xb360 converter to brooks converters. All working great.

Wait, you are using a PS1 controller? Which converter are you using for that specifically?

i'm using ps2 controller i cant press "select" button but all controls working perfectly.

I'm using PS2 controller, I didn't touch any option (nor used any program) and i'm playing perfectly without problems

I do not know if you PS2 controlers work perfectly, but mine do.

i'm using a ps2 controller and works, perfect, vibration and every button, but it might depend in adapter you are using
