So... can you play vs. friends online easily?

Cuz some fighting game ports *cough*Dead or Alive*cough* unnecessarily complicate this process. And this is the only reason for me to buy a fighting game on PC. I don't care about playing vs. randoms nor do I really care about single (I have lots of other Tekken games for this on consoles) and all my friends are PC gamers.

So... can you create custom lobbies or something?

Yup, you create lobby for whatever number of players, set amount of private slots and send invites to friends thru steam

i add almost 15 people from my own region to play, all of them cant be synch. sure u can create a lobby, but u cant play it,.it will synch, and then fail..

interesting, could it be a port issue? I don't doubt that you folks have synch issue with lobby games but I personally never had it withina lobby.

It's the weirdest thing and it makes absolutely no sense, but I am able to play randoms online in Quick Match as well as Ranked, but I can't play with anyone that I pick specifically, whether they're on the Session Browser or in Tournament mode. That includes friends who invite me to play. I can join their lobbies, but we can't sync.

I don't understand why I am fully capable of online play, but I just can't play with friends. Clearly I can play against people online. What is wrong with this game?

Yeah I haven't been able to play with any friends of mine since the launch of this game. Constant syncing into a failed sync. No help from support, reddit, or anything. No body seems to know what to do, yet so many people seem to have this problem.

i only had a synch problem once with a friend who had crossed bars for a week then magically it was fixed the same day patch 2 came out then i never had any problem so far.
