Stupid game.

This game is beyond dumb. As a kid a lot of me and my friends played this game. I didnt own the game so it seemed so mystical and cool in my eyes. I always thought "i'm going to learn this combo and kick everyones asses". And now that i own the game i get to do that myself, within a few hrs i am able to learn just about every move the character has, and even on ranked i kick almost everyones♥♥♥♥♥ until you reach a certain point..... When you reach that point when all move sets go out the door, and only the most efficent move sets are allowed, and the game basically becomes a juggling simulator. Seasoned players do the same moves as new players but just a little more complicated. A new player kicks or does the same punch over and over again. seasoned players do the same "Air Combo" over and over, waiting until they can get you in the air at just the right time. and then you sit there waiting until their juggling act is over. This game is a perfecty example of a arcade game... looks cool, seems cool, until you scratch the surface, and then you realize that the game is straight up BROKEN. It was cool learning a bunch a different moves and mixing things up, testing my limits and the limits of other players. But the mind of experts are always the same " do the broken combo a couple times and i win!!!!". Game is beyond dumb in my opinion i really don't know why people play it.

Bro i see what gitting Gud looks like and i don't like it. More than half the move sets in the roster are garbage because of the air juggling mechanics, mixing things up and fun are not the end goal just memerizing crap air combos

stop crying if the other guy who is beating ur ass want to use the same combo over and over that is his choice that doesnt mean you have to

I don't know what to say. Yes, it's not the same as Tekken 3 or so, there are too many air combos that can be super annoying. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing. I'm neutral here. However, I still enjoy the game as it's very competitive despite that. The good thing is that all old characters still have their old moves with additional ones which is why I prefer the Tekken franchise. You're not totally wrong.

Yeah, It's not like juggling is a thing in Tekken since 4 for and is an established part of the gameplay. It's just a part of Tekken, you can't go online and play against other people and expect them not to use a core part of the gameplay, especially when they are playing competetivly and want to win. Fighting games have a high skillcap, mastering juggling is part of reaching that skillcap. If you want to play Tekken casually, just grab a few friends but don't critice a core element of the game that's in it since 2002. If you knew how this game works you would know how to avoid and punish a opponent for trying to pull a launcher on you, and rage arts are blockable and avoidable as well, just don't play unsave and leave yourself open if the enemy is in rage. It's not like their life bar is blinking red and signalizing they can use it

Also if hes using the same combo all the time it shouldnt be hard to figure out a patern and find openings.

If he misses one he goes for another just so he can get that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ air combo!!. Thats the end goal of the game i've watched competitive game play and i had friends that played the game like it was their damn job they did the same moves over and over....

I have to throw out half of the moves i know to pander to some ♥♥♥♥ mechanic ♥♥♥♥ that. enjoy your ♥♥♥♥ game dude
