doesn't make it legal for use, this modification gives you advantage in game because larger FoV and you can see edges of stage easier. I hope they implement anti cheat to stop people like you.

this should be a standered feature cant see how a change of fov and more stage visuals will change gameplay in anyway not like its league of legends and u can see a gank sooner than others and no items spawn on stage like injustice or mkx etc so there is no way of getting a advantage from this devs need to pull there finger out and make this a game for 2k17 :P

it has no support because it's not supposed to be supported. it gives a competitive advantage.

Given that there is a pic of it running in that aspect ratio and they seem to have actively disabled it, I'd assume they did so for fairness reasons as mentioned previously by other posters.

this fairness stuff is retarded. It is not even much of an advantage in games where it actually matters, pretty sure this was proven. A fightstick or better controller is waaay more of an advantage. Besides, PC gaming is all about having better stuff. Pretty sure you should of bought this on console if you are complaining about something like this

No offense matey, but buying non-standard gear then complaining it's not supported - perhaps console is the place for you - just stick the disk in and play. The devs can't (and in this case seem to have chosen not to) support everything, there is a time and money cost to every additional thing they add, which takes away from things everyone can benefit from (yes it may be different staff members, but there's still testing, etc).

If this much of an advantage is a deal breaker for you, youre probably a top 10 player or some crap right? A GOOD player should know the stages well enough that this much of an advantage is negligible. People want to be able to utilize the full size of their equipment. Just because you dont have a 21:9 monitor doesnt mean i shouldnt be able to utilize mine.
