Controller right stick bug
If I plug in my x360 controller when the game is already running the right analog stick is stuck on the down direction and can't go up. In the character customization menu I can only rotate the model left or right and the camera will always be stuck looking at the character from above.

The only solution I found is to restart the game with the controller already plugged in.

It's a Steam error. Since Tekken 7 allows any type of command and configure it within the game. To solve the error you had to de-enable non steam controller option in big picture mode for tekken 7.

Go big picture mode and select tekken:

Uncheck the box :D:

I have an Xbox 360 controller, a Pc / PS3 and a PS3 controller, all three work perfectly thanks to that tekken has a great configuration the best game I've ever seen.:butterfly:

I don't use Big Picture mode but I'll try.

edit: I don't have the option or the checkbox.

Now I have the same problem on Tekken 8
But i cant find nothing to fix
Hey there I know exactly what you are experiencing. I am using a Playstation 4 Dualshock 4 controller mainly but I don't see why this shouldn't work for others too. I had the same exact issue in Tekken 7 also. I tried everything like disconnecting the keyboard, mouse, changing steam input settings etc.. and none worked until I messed around with the button mapping in options.

In the menu you can select "wireless controller" or "hydra force sensor". To fix the issue with the camera always going up like a view from the ceiling (on high as you say) in character customization do the following:

1. Go to options or settings in the Tekken main menu
2. Select button mapping
3. Make sure your "R" inputs are mapped in one and only one area (either hydra force sensor or wireless controller). For example to fix my camera orientation I removed the mapping for "R" controls from hydra force sensor, but kept them in the wireless controller mapping.

After this it should work fine and camera orientation should be normal. Photo mode camera orientation should also be fixed too for Tekken 8. Hopefully this helps someone.
