I am using the most upto date drivers from geforce experience and only get average 19fps on the lowest settings.
I would love some tips on how to improve this?! Thanks
Make sure the game is not running on your integrated GPU. Force all games to run on dedicated GPU in Nvidia control panel. If that doesn't help, you have to go into your T7 folder, right click the game and choose to run it with dedicated graphics proccessor.
Do you have any external monitor plugged into your laptop ? Just wondering, had an issue with my old laptop once where plugging an external monitor would cause the drivers to treat integrated GPU as dedicated and vice-versa so had to switch them around whenever I played on monitor isntead of internal display.
Well, unless he runs dynamic optimisation on, then lowering settings to medum or low should give 60fps. If it does, then I'm really amazed with the port, 920m is close to low-end when compared to cards like 970 or 1060. I wonder how would that work on my old laptop with 630m inside... I guess I won't want to even check that.
and dynamic adjustment is crap from what i've seen, causes lag as it changes the texture, like outright freeze, as it loads the lower res texture or whatveer
Honestly, I have an even crappier Nvidia GT 740M on a 3 years old-not gaming ready-laptop... and the game runs almost steadily at 60fps [WITH LOW SETTINGS!!!]
Thanks again everyone - have a great weekend!
