TEKKEN 7
Game Freezing/Stuttering
I run the game at a smooth 60fps normally, but sometimes it just freezes for a second at the randomest times. I don't know what's causing the issue nor do I know what it could be, since I have the Tekken 7 Game Ready Driver installed as well. Anyone else getting this?

(I have a GTX 970)

I had this problem about a month ago, fixed it by rolling back my CONTROLLER's drivers. I believe it's a problem with X-input related controllers. I had to set my wireless reciever to pretend to be a wired controller and haven't experienced a problem since.
Win+X>Device Manager can get you to where you need to go.
Hope this helps!
It's a universal device issue and will happen if a controller isn't plugged in. Unless you count the keyboard as a controller.

im having the same problem any fix yet ?
I used Win7 for about 6 months then did a format and fresh 10 install and don't have the stutters any more. No intentional fix, though.

Do you have corsair equipment? If so uninstall the CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) and you should be solid. If it doesn't work next uninstall the drivers for the keyboard that are special, then you should be solid. If not, sorry bout your luck.

I have CUE and no problems. Old version though...so maybe just downgrade. Although that involves flashing old firmware onto your devices which you are going to have to ask for at Corsair forums.
This also started happening to me when I use my ps4 controller in the game. Up until this point I used a ps3(and I still I have SCP drivers installed because I use DS3 for Rocket League), but the stutters seem to be less frequent, or sometimes none at all when I disable SCP service. Wish I wouldn't have to do that everytime though. Also I read disabling a bunch of HID devices in Device Manager can lessen the stutters, but I've disabled as much as I can without affecting my mouse/keyboard and controller, but I still get the stutters.

If you actually read the thread you'd see it's pretty clear its a driver implementation and refresh issue. Your specs don't matter.
I've been having the PS4 controller issue creep in on me over the last month or so. It's also effected my other game (Dark Souls 3) in much the same way, but without the ghost input. Game freezes for a moment, and puts in an up/back input in Tekken. I lived with it for a long while, but now it's happening almost every 5 or 10 minutes. I noticed that my device manager list would refreash during these hitching moments, but I don't know for sure what that suggests.

Regardless, I just tried a solution that seems to have yielded fruit, found oddly enough in a FFXIV forum. Something in that game has caused similar brief disconnects with DS4 users on PC, wired or otherwise, resulting in much the same errors I'm reading in this thread. Their solution was to go into Device Manager, under the Software Devices section and to Disable the "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" selection.

After having done so, I've sat in training mode in Tekken 7 for the last 30 minutes and have not had a single freeze with the associated up/back ghost input. That's a great deal better result than all the other suggestions I've yet done, many from which came from this thread (thank you for those).

I'll save you the trouble and state that I don't know what this enumerator does, and the internet doesn't have a ton to say about it either. From another forum came this description..

"The Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator does exactly as it says. When a device has to install drivers or software it may use a "Rooted" piece of software - the Enumerator assigns a value. Think like the old library look-up system with the paper cards and the dewey decimals.

So - you install a device like a MIDI keyboard so you can do some sick drops. This device may require the software to start immediately on boot-up. Without the Root Enumerator doing its portion you may experience certain portions of your equipment "malfunctioning". So you may blame the PC or heck even the manufacturer of the device for it being "broken", but hey you're a DJ, gotta get the foam flowing right at the apex of the song right? That 1/1000 of a second means the world."

If this means I can't play Star Wars Tie Fighter anymore, then I guess my dreams of being on the next Tekken Eleague are over.
It is now 2018. I have tried EVERYTHING I could find and yet I still have this persistant problem and I can not solve it what so ever. I've reinstalled the game twice and even to a new drive. Some one please come up with a fix this problem only happens for me on Tekken 7 and Rainbow six siege I can run every other game with no issue.
