Having said that, let me be helpful. Heihachi has super armor in every move here, so don't try to hit him with a faster move, you gotta cheese him. Jump back and Zanku hadouken him to hell and back, if he gets closes, throw him, he'll never escape and his super armor doesn't protect him.
Ogre was very fair
I haven't played Tekken since part 3, and I'm up to chapter 13 and haven't had too many issues. You just got to know some good moves, a few combos and avoid certain moves that the a.i. spams.
First, there's no "raw" difficulty selection. Easy is easier than medium, but in an unnatural way. It should be easier, but it should be easier because AI plays worse - and only because AI plays worse. Not because I can do a combo by repeatedly pressing a single button. It detracts from adjusting yourself as a beginner to the game's controls. It literally changes the mechanics of a game. That should never happen. Leave mechanics alone, but increase/decrease difficulty of cpu opponents.
That's why people are complaining, that would be my guess. I want to play the game normally in story mode, but I don't want it to be overly hard - as I want to finish the story and THEN go into practice, google frame data, do execution, memorize combos etc.
But in order to do that I basically then have to play the story on easy, which isn't representative at all (inb4 "of course it's not representative, it's vs ai" - I don't mean that, I mean, it's not mechanically representative, the game is altered on a base level).
Second, there's no trace of some kind of "learning through campaign" stuff. There's no tutorial, so I assumed there would be some basic stuff in story mode. But there doesn't seem to be any. Usually games come with either of the two, if not both.
Actually... it's just a quicktime event... it so stupid simple in hindsight.
Devil Kazuya was the point I put the controller down. Haven't been back in story mode since. I did similar when I saw Tekken Tag 2 AI was cheating by reading inputs. Still got 1000 G on it though
good riddance
