How do the PC ultra settings compare to the PS4 Pro settings ? Any screenshots of both versions ?

You can't compare the two. I'm playing using 4k resolution and no console will ever achieve this level. Screenshots are not representative of what you see on the screen, you have to see things in motion.

i have both and i can tell you the PS4 LOOKS LIKE ♥♥♥♥. im about to sell it but ima hold on to it for a bit to see if the online community last on pc. im plaiung it in 4k on my oled and the ps4 pro only dose 1080p so its ugly and missing features.

Why would PC community die when the game has about 13k people online. This number is very huge (and some ignorant people expected 1k on launch at best which was very amusing).

See: The Division launch.

Division is a crappy game overal and is unoptimized mess with many other issues and to add it wasn't related to niche genre unlike Tekken which is still a fighting game, even though it's AAA product. This one has minor issues it seems, yet it has 13k players and I bet it will be bigger since many people are still asleep except Japan (and America, right?). If you want to compare to something, use better examples. It's like comparing Tekken to MKX which was a huge mess at launch as well.

Netcode is the only thing that can kill a fighting game on PC. I expect this game to last. It won't be as populous as console obviously but I don't see it dropping to SNK Fighting Games level.

There is no competition, PS4 Pro (or any current console) cannot handle native 4K unlike the PC version which can handle native 4k graphics (2160p) and 60fps.

The PS4 Pro can only upscale 4K but runs natively at much much lower resolutions.

In other words no console can run what the PC currently has to offer.

But outside of 4k, any graphical differences ?

I can't imagine that the PS4 version looks as good as ultra on PC.

Also, looks like that by default, there is a blur and a film grain filter applied to the game. Noticed it and it bothered me right away. If you search "grain" in these forums, you'll see a post that shows you how to remove both. The game looks better and more crisp after doing so.

I'm assuming these are automatically applied on the PS4 version as well, only difference is you can't edit .ini files on PS4 so you're stuck with those atrocious filters.

No it isn't. Lack of support for the game in comparison to the console versions will do it too. Look at xenoverse 2: went from many players to very few in about a week. Belated support from bamco (same publisher hence the comparison) and unwillingness to punish cheaters and hackers led to the community dying off really quick.

This is a fighter and techical issues aside, it requires contant updating in terms of balancing etc. Bamco are known for dropping a game and then abandoning it (or releasing one minor patch if that)
Gameplay > Graphics
Sigh, no wonder there is no Crossplay because PC players will only care Graphics instead.

Nice to see this stigma still being pushed, even by someone who owns the game on PC. I'll never understand someone who mindlessly hates fanbases because of strawmen they made up.

On topic: The PC version does look better thanks to increased resolution and more graphics options as well as being able to toggle the filters through the .ini file, however the experience is great on all platforms thanks to it being a fighting game. The devs for that genre always aim for 60 so you'll get a great play experience and it'll look great on both, the PC version just gets a few advantages for being PC.

13k is the same number of players MKX and SFV had at launch. It might be slightly biased because unpacking was very long for a lot of people but it means it basically reached the widest possible "casual" audience that might pick up a fighting game on PC.
If the netcode proves to be okay it might sit around 1-2k regular players in the long run, which is still a lot for a PC game without crossplay.

PC's graphics ♥♥♥♥ all over the PS4, especially if you're going 4k and ultra.

Heck, even my settings on High beats the PS4 out of the water.

The netcode is good, played 20 matches or so, 0 input delay, no frame drops, no de-syncs, felt almost like offline mode.
