DS4 vs Xbox One controller
So, even through I have my personal opinion I want to hear from you guys, which one of those two have a better d-pad for this game?

I currently have a Xone controller and I'm having a hard time sliding on the d-pad (specially noticed when I try to do inputs like King's Giant Swing or BDC). I've played on a PS4 once and I remember that I felt comfortable sliding on the d-pad (but it wasn't Tekken that I played on the PS4). What do you people think, wich one do you guys prefer and would you reccomend to switch my controller to a DS4 (or maybe another controller, anything but a Arcade Stick since I don't have money to buy one).

Xbox controller dpads have always been terrible. For fighting games and other genres. It's no contest , ds4 is better.

It's like asking if a steering wheel is better than a controller for sim racing. The controller is usable but it's obvious the wheel is better.

Do you mind changing the title just a bit? It looks like you're reporting issues but you're not since the game isn't out yet :D

Personally for me, I find xbox controllers to be bad. I dont know why because ive been playing on xbox since they release the Xbox360 until sony released the PS4 then I changed to ps4 and with its controller and found it to be comfortable than the xbox so DS4 it is for me...

I just realised that Ghost Recon Wildlands allow us to switch between button inputs (selecting which button prompts you want to see) hope more devs start following this "trend"

DS3 and DS4 are the best for tekken

i'd suggest DS3 for PC tho, holds charge 4 times as long

Go for the DS4 :)

I personally prefer the shape, feel and back buttons of Xbox controller. I hate ps4 shape, size and triggers.

However I will say the dpad for Xbox is annoying because of where it is.

its up to you... its all personal preference. which controller feels more natural in your hand? ds4 controller the left analog stick is where the xbox dpad is, and the xbox analog stick is where the ds4 dpad is... only difference...

I agree a lot with Melons that the shape, buttons, and analog sticks sticks are better on the XBOX controllers 360/One and so I prefer them for most games. But the D-pad on XBOX controllers is inaccurate, so I would suggest a DS4 for Tekken. Note: I've not tried the Elite XBOX controllers. So I don't know how those D-Pads are.

There is quite a big difference, the Xbox dpad is constructed differently than the ds4.

If you tried to play a game like wipeout HD or tekken where you have to(or want to) use the dpad for 95% of the time. It will be very difficult (and painful) to roll your thumb around the Xbox dpad.

I always wondered why no one uses the cross from the SNES gamepad anymore. That thing was awesome. I think Nintendo may still have the patent on it. That was the best D-Pad I ever used.

But those old controllers probably have big input delays right?

Anyway, thanks everyone, I think I'ill change for a DS4 or DS3. I'm really not comfortable with the Xone d-pad, I only choosen this controller beacuse it's naturally compatible with Windows 10 and I wasn't aware of the d-pad.

360 or PS4 controller for me. I hate the standard XBONE controller and how it feels in my hands(why does it have to be so big?!) and the d-pad makes me want to punch a baby seal lol. I haven't tried the smaller version yet, I could like that one better..
